October 13 from 5:30-8:30 Come out to Strikers in Jenison for a fun nite of mini-golf, go-carts, batting cages, raffles, and ice-cream!! It is a free event to benefit Yezelalem Minch in Ethiopia. Did you know that more than a billion people in the world live and die in desperate poverty? They attempt to survive on less than a dollar per day. Close to two billion others live on less than two dollars per day. That's nearly HALF the world struggling today to find food, water, shelter with the same amount of money we can spend on french fries for lunch. Today more than 26,000 children will breathe their last breath due to starvation or a preventable disease....Suddenly I began to realize that if I have been commanded to make disciples of all nations, and if poverty is rampant in the world to which God has called me, then I cannot ignore these realities. Anyone wanting to proclaim the glory of Christ to the ends of the earth must consider not only how to declare the gospel verbally but also how to demonstrate the gospel visibly in a world where so may are urgently hungry.

Car Wash To Benefit the Hillcrest Haiti Mission Team!

This Saturday, May 21, from 9 til 3 at Hudsonville Bowling Lanes you can come and be part of making a difference in the life of an orphan by getting your car washed! All proceeds go to the Hillcrest Haiti Mission Team who will be ministering to and loving on orphan children at God's Littlest Angel's Orphanage in Haiti.

Wait No More^®Finding Families for Michigan's Waiting Kids

In Michigan alone, more than 4,600 children and youth are waiting in the foster care system for adoptive families. Michigan has more than 11,000 churches, and God has given clear commands for Christians to take care of His orphan children.

Join us on May 21, 2011 at Resurrection Life Church, 5100 Ivanrest Ave SW. You'll hear more about the kids who are waiting, the process of adoption from foster care and ways to support adoptive families. In addition, agency and county representatives will be on site to answer questions and help you get started.

So come explore what the Lord may be asking you to do. Together we can ensure that no child in Michigan is waiting for someone to call mom or dad.

A Certified Public Accountant, who is also an adoptive father!, will explain the Federal Adoption Tax Credit. Loan and grant programs will be presented and an adoptive family will share their personal experience about how they funded their adoption.

All proceeds for the concert will go to benefit Gods' Littlest Angels Orphanage in Haiti. Funds will be used to build a much needed new orphanage to house the 170+ orphans.
